Bad news for today unfortunately. Due to being severely short staffed, I’m going to have to shut us down today. In years past, I would go in and kill myself to make it all work but it’s just not something I can do anymore without risking health issues. We are going to reevaluate this weekend and get a game plan together going forward. I obviously want to be open today. A lot of our staff is kids and some of them are in sports or just have other things going on. We support those things but at the same time, it can make staffing a seasonal restaurant extremely hard sometimes and it’s just not a fight I can fight at this time. I’ll make it up to you all! Thank you for all the love and support you all have shown and we will see you Wednesday 🌭🌭
We once again will be opening at 5 o’clock today due to the heat. The less time in it, the better off me and my staff will be. We are open 5 to 8. We will be good tomorrow i believe but I’ll post for sure one way or another. Just a friendly reminder, we will be closed Sunday this week. It’s hot but come and see us 🌭🌭🌭
Due to the heat, we will be opening at 5 o’clock today instead of the typical 4 o’clock. We will most likely do this again tomorrow but I’ll let you know. Saturday we should be good with no changes 👌
Good morning everyone! As I’ve stated in earlier posts, we are going to stay open until the end of September this year! We will be closed this Sunday due to a prior commitment but I’m sure you all will be cool with that as a trade off for 3 more weeks. We are going to back up our opening today until 5 due to the heat in our building but we will be open! Potentially tomorrow as well but it depends on the heat. Our hours today will be 5-8 🌭🌭🌭🌭
One thing I hear on a rare occasion is our hot dogs are bit skinny. Let me explain why we use a “skinny” hot dog. Probably 75 to 80% or more of what we sell in total hot dogs are coneys (coney sauce on the dog). With that in mind, most top it with cheese, onions and other ingredients. We use a skinnier hot dog to accommodate and balance all these ingredients so that the hot dog doesn’t overpower all the other flavors. I believe it’s the right balance personally but I do agree that if you just get a foot long or short dog, it can look a bit skinnyStarting today and going forward, we will have a double option on all of our dogs and coneys! $1 for a short. $2 for a long. We will simply put two dogs on your bun and build it however you order it. Kind of a fun, unique way to offer you more without changing our dogs. We are open 4 to 8 today! 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭
